Patent Certification

     The National Intellectual Property Administration, in accordance with the Patent Law of the People’s Republic of China, after conducting a preliminary examination, has decided to grant the patent right, issue the design patent certificate, and register it in the patent register. The patent right takes effect from the date of the announcement of grant. The term of the patent right is ten years, calculated from the date of the application.
     The patent certificate records the legal status at the time of patent registration. Matters such as the transfer, pledge, invalidation, termination, restoration of the patent right, as well as the name or title, nationality, and address changes of the patentee are recorded in the patent register.
